The ascension of Croagh Patrick on Reek Sunday, in Murrisk, County Mayo, Ireland. On the last sunday of July thousands of pilgrims climb the mountain to attend a mass on the summit (where a church has been since the 5th century although the current one isn't that old). This custom goes back to at least the Middle Ages.
